Announcement: COVID-19
March 24, 2020
Dear Global Community,
Over the past weeks and, indeed, months Adaptive3D has watched the unprecedented threat posed by
COVID-19 unfold across the world and now into our own community here in Dallas, Texas.
The wife of Adaptive3D CEO Walter Voit, Dr. Felicity Lenes-Voit, is an Ear, Nose and Throat Head and Neck surgeon at Dallas Children’s Medical Center and UT Southwestern Medical Center, so the challenge to healthcare workers and the magnitude of the threat hits directly to the heart of our organization.
With a somber yet bold spirit, the entire organization of Adaptive3D has committed to helping the global community in any way we can. This begins with our registration and participation in multiple organized efforts managed by both private industry and federal agencies to quickly develop and produce a range of protective equipment and components for delivery of medical care. This is being done with regulatory compliance and partnership in mind.
For the past 2 years Adaptive3D has been working with leading medical device, packaging, and equipment companies. Leveraging our proprietary technology to produce high performance additively manufactured elastomeric resins, we are resolved to bolster the effectiveness of the medical device and PPE industry. We also stand ready to complement the existing supply chain with our internal part production capacity for tough, flexible parts.
Adaptive3D’s ToughRubber products are designed for DLP additive manufacturing and deliver:
Please note that due to a high volume of requests from new and existing relationships, Adaptive3D will give priority to supplying expertise, design services, resin and parts to COVID-19 related applications.
